Bogor is a district, part of West Java Province, which can be reached through short drive from Jakarta. Through an event created through CouchSurfing.org, Alif and I visited one of its main attraction: Taman Safari (http://www.tamansafari.com/) on October 29, 2011.
Bring some carrots (can be bought from the roadside on the way to the park) to feed those roaming free deers etc.
Can you see the owl inside the tree hole?
No motorbike ride and don’t open the car windows unless you’re strong enough to fight wild lion, bear, etc.
Absolutely no swimming in these areas.
However, these tigers in baby zoo were cute enough to hug.
She had guts!
It’s Wulan, the cute orangutan.
Don’t miss the water park!
Visitors can swim with crocodile.
Recommended transport: Car rent (Rp.600,000 include driver, gasoline, parking, toll fee etc) which can fit up to 7 passengers like us (Fadli from Malaysia, Brian from Hong Kong, Rona and Agnieszka from Poland, Erna, Alif and I).
